Ted's practice is centered on commercial real estate acquisitions and real estate finance. He represents public and private real estate clients in land acquisitions entity formation, real estate finance, sales and purchases of developed and undeveloped properties and general business and development issues.

• Represents an office REIT, Highwoods Properties, Inc., headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina which owns approximately 600 properties in eight states in connection with a broad range of its real estate activities: finance, portfolio acquisitions and joint ventures, leasing, sales and North Carolina development issues
• Represents Carolantic Realty, Inc., the largest local commercial real estate brokerage company, and Fonville-Morisey Realty, Inc., the largest local residential brokerage firm in connection with a variety of brokerage issues
• Represents a number of individual real estate investors and developers in connection with local commercial and residential developments
• Represents some national lenders in connection with loans secured by properties located in North Carolina.
